11S Campag Overboard cups - compatibility?

Just bought SR cups from Ribble, who advertised them as "suitable for all 11 spped groupsets", but when they arrive they have a slip declaring that they should not be used with Record (or presumably anything below) "in order not to damage the product" - what gives?

    The SR cups don't have any seals for the bearings as they're for use with ceramics. AFAIK it's the only difference.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
