Halo Twin Rail tyres 26"

Does anyone use the Halo Twin Rail tyre on 26" wheel mountain bike? What do you think of them?

Want to turn my old mtb into bike for the road and commuting, but like the idea of a comfy tyre that can also grip loose stuff.

Are they heavy tyres for the road?

they are fine after a little time wearing in. they are very fast but a tad heavy. great for the skate part and street furniture, on wet grass faily easy to spin the rear out.

for more road and hard packed surfaces look at the Schwalbe big Apple/super moto.

thanks for that, that was my concern that they would feel heavy when trying to ride the road into the wind!! I'll look at something else, thanks for the tip!
