woke up early, which is strange considering the boy was still asleep so i decided to ommute in. i dusted off the road bike yesterday so i decided to give it a go this morning.

now, i'm not sure if it was just coincidence but some guy who was riding a pretty nice GT, not sure what model, changed his line and rode straight towards me coming around a bend causing me to swerve into the bushes - was it because i was on a road bike? i usually commute on my full susser but TBH it's total overkill.

if it was cos of the bike -I RIDE MOUNTAIN BIKES TOO!!! muppet, next time i'll ride his mum instead. OK rant over

    Morning folks.

Today I have shown some awe. Well i have sorted out my sky+ that was not working.

Now for a glass of juice and a browse on here. after this I am lacking of things to do, Thinking of a ride, maybe just lol around as Dayshift weekend 7-7s in a hot hot 100degree+ factory has taken its toll.
I do know that at 3 I have boy to pick up. Then the fun bit starts, creepy crawly hunting, worm racing and maybe a Gruffalo hunt :D

Morning team, off out in a bit to take Mrs G to visit her new school, case out her classroom and sign her first contract.

Then its off to work for me until half 8 ish, after which point I have been told at pain of death, that i need to remove the 2 bikes that are in pieces in the front room, into their proper place in the coal shed

Roll on Friday though, I've already got the tent and gazebo in the car, and I'm slowly packing it up day by day
Mountain biking is like sex.......more fun when someone else is getting hurt

Well, the busy period at work has arrived. I've got the rest of the summer to install OS's and software onto 80 macs. I can't really say I'm excited.

I've had a shi'ite mornin so far. I discovered my milk has gone off (only bought it last night  ) so haven't had my tea today, then discovered that my fridge freezer isn't cold enough, so the bread in the freezer is all soft, as are the yorkshire puddings  also, my landlord is showing a workman around my house for some possibly work to be done (no idea what) and my house is still a tip as I need to buy some bookshelves (which I planned on doing tonight)

    And I'm completely broke.

Oh well, BRL on Friday!!! :D

Morning everyone :) Hope top weekends were had by all!

I, unfortunately, spend the whole time being ill. However, I refused to let that destroy the weekend. rather too many painkillers of varying sorts later and drinking long island iced tea and mojitos by the pint!!! I managed to have some fun!

Note to self, bouncy castles = dangerous when drunk...friction burns = not nice!

Hit cliffhanger yesterday, watched the bouldering world cup semis, was rather cool :)

I also snowboarded for 4 hours last night, spent most of it trying to jib around and landing on my ass but hey it was much fun and made me :D

Today I have to work til 5ish, then...heading to a mates to get a CD I discovered was stuck in my new car CD player removed. Guess what it was though.....Thriller.....I mean come on!!!

I had a busy weekend. Saturday was spent helping my sister out with her other half's office. They employed some fast-talking numpty to put in all the electric string and whirring box things and set them up so the lights flashed in the right order. Unfortunately, it looked like the bloke just knew enough to do it badly. So, went, nosed, found out what was wrong and made lots of notes then fixed what was possible there and then. Silly people :( Then I had a curry and it was good. Mmmm.

Sunday involved big rocky peak district goodness with sparks flying from bashguard on rocks and jumping shouting 'GNARCORE!' as my wheels got an entire inch off the ground.

Next to the CD input there should be a tiny hole, unfold a paperclip and put it in the hole (oo-er ;) ) you may need to press eject whilst doing this, but it should pop right out then.

I'm in the office, but technically on leave. I shall be leaving shortly for that 30+ mile commute home...
