Today will be a day of family fun.
Tomorrow will be the company summer BBQ, complete with candy floss, bouncy castles (including one for the adults), face painting, giant slide, sumo suits, spit roast hog and of course, free bar
I also came VERY close to selling the 456 this morning. Had the advert written up and everything. Seen an awesome '09 S-Works Enduro for sale for £1,500. I've ALWAYS wanted one of those.
However, I doubt I'd get as much as I really want for the 456 so I'm probably better off keeping it to be fair.

Good Morning, off to go shopping and food shopping with my brother as my parents have abandoned us for the weekend, tempted to do a bit of sun bathing afterwards.0

GET THE ENDURO.... becuase you're worth it0

I'm going to have a play with my new car today It's all shiny and fast. Then I think I will go for a walk into Bury and see if there is anything I want at Leisure Lakes (well, there's lots I want, but nothing I can afford)
Tomorrow I'm doing a recording for a girl entering Young Chorister of the Year, so hopefully I'll get some bike tokens in return. It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
Join us on UK-MTB we won't bite, but bring cake!

Hahaha, nah.
Looking around, I doubt I'd see much more than £1k back on the 456. That's undervalued in my opinion.0 -
Morning ! Took delivery of my provisional licence today ! Also a free sample bottle of squirt lube for when i replace the drivetrain on my bike, Enjoying my 1st day off work this week :shock:0

get the enduro. if you can get a grand for the 456 then you will have done very well i would say, shame you have spent more but a grand for a second hand hardtail (and lets be honest, thats how the world will see it) is very good.
t'other thing is, that bike is only ever going to depreciate in value so if you dont sell it now, you probably never will.0 -
Working in the sunny north sea as usual
CWNT why don't you just buy a 2005 s works frame and add the bits from the 456? no brainer really ( only cause I've got a superduper 2005 s works enduro am i saying this )I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

Nah, I reckon I'll just keep it for now, and save up a bit to swap the frame out (which was the initial plan anyway). To be fair, the stuff I've got on there is all top-end gear that I wanted for ages. Seems a shame to get rid so soon.
What I really want to do is save my pennies and buy a Mojo Frame to swap everything over onto.
Think it was just one of those "WANTS!" moments. :roll:0 -

haha,
i know they're doing no harm and its good to be interested in something.
lets be honest, whos the biggest weirdo: a load of grown men dressing up like folk off of the telly, or me, sat on my sofa watching the telly (germany v argentina, my 2 fave "defeated in a war" nations) drinking fine scoth on a saturday afternoon?0 -

Or a bunch of blokes, crashing down a mountain side in silly clothes getting all muddy.
We're all pretty wierd you've got to admit0 -
this is true, although i find the ones who enjoy a good old fashioned climb to be the weirdest, even more so than those who pretend (and im pretty certain they are pretending) to enjoy single speeding.0

Not forgetting the roadies, and the ones who commute in full team lycra, oh, and Fixie riders  .0 -
it appears you have to try very hard not to be weird as a cyclist!0

I feel it may be easier to just accept you're a wierdo, get back on your bike, and carry on. Works for me anyway.0
