Mass Participation Rides are not the Tour de France

Sorry, gratuitous addition to the current theme.
However, I could make the point that there are always a few plonkers on a mass participation ride, who enjoy starting late and then "breaking away" at what they regard as high speed from every humble enthusiast on a shopper bike with a jumper tied around their waist, whilst tutting disapprovingly, and then weaving through the punters up ahead like a BMW on a motorway.
In fact, I've done it myself, but the thrill wears off after a while!

For me on a folder overtaking aint an option...Being stuck behind a group of fit nurses on boneshakers for the duration is something you just have to put with I supoosejc0
