Am I alone in thinking that he seems to be rejuvenated by his change of team?
Best season in years (ever?). Remember the 'guess what I saw on my way to work this morning photos' (before Team Sky was officially announced)? He was grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Seems like the Sky setup suits him.
Always rated him as a rider ever since the TDF stage victory with the bow and arrow. He also crops up in Cav's book a few times - as the caring guiding older professional. Can see why Brailsford signed him - mentoring Peter K and G.
Would love to see him grab a stage this year, particulalry when you think of his rides in the classics earlier this year
