Front mech

im after a direct cable front mech (not direct fit) i.e the outer cable runs all the way to the mech, the only one i can find is the "Shimano SLX FD M661 Front Derailleur" which is a direct fit, well i aint got direct fit i need the clamp style but cant find any?
anyone know of any-link please?

it may be the right one for your frame but you are best off taking it to a bike shop that at least sells slx kit and they could source the correct 1 for you like tredz in cardiff0 -

cheers for the help but that mechs not direct cable routed, i think the only ones that have direct cable routing are direct fit mechs. i know what mech i need, its a top pull 34.9 mm clamp, i just cant find any with direct cable routingDont look at it-ride it! they are tools not f*cking ornaments

If you're after "direct cable routing" to keep mud at bay, I would suggest that you also look at Gore RideOn cables, These are impervious to mud, water, etc and last a long time, as well as significantly reducing friction. If you've snapped off a cable stop it ought to be possible to find or make something to do the job.0
