Seatclamp:hope in red
rear QR:hope in red
gear cables: clarks
http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product/16 ... r%2C%20RedI assume this is French petrol - be careful in reverse - the car will retreat rapidly at the least provocation.0 -
and before you go finding the red azonic qr seat clamp on crc it's not the same as the black one pictured and has a poor quality crappy plastic bushing. it's really poor and ruins the clamp. but then again the difference is probably reflected in the pricing of the two respective clamps.0

Thanks for your help but i think i'll just get a normal black seatclamp, as the hope is way too expensive, and i'll get red superstar skewers (http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_ ... cts_id=337) but what chainring bolts for single ring, and what cables?0

it's just cables, i don't know about now, i've decided about the rest. what fully sealed, teflon coated gear cables should i get, for just the rear mech- no front mech
thanks0 -
Transfil Mudlovers, because they are by far the cheapest and they work very well.0

I've had amazing success with "flaing snaiks"
Yes, they really are spelt that bizarrely, but I can't quite remember exactly how it's spelt.0 -

these alfablue? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=29029 they look good, thanks for your help
i think i'll go with the flying snakes0 -
yep, those. The outers are plain grey, the flying snakes have a kevlar weave, both functionally the same, the snakes are prettier and lighter, and cost a small amount more.0

yes, flaiing sneik
I swear they didn't used to have it written normally anywhere on the box.
Fantastic longevity even through the muddiest year I remember riding through in Wales.0 -
Gore cables are also excellent, but expensive and I expect only available as a set.0

get your self a coule of meters of SP41 (xtr outer but on a roll) outer from your lbs and an xtr inner cable, prolly cost you about a tenner or so all in, silky smooth light shifting too!!Timmo.
