Guys, got some formula the one brakes on my cube stereo and they are brilliant..however went to adjust the angle of the lever,, which is a basic and reasonable thing to be able to do and ...snap ... The aluminium bolt screwed into the lever body sheared off.

Took brake into leisure lakes (great guys) to get sorted under warranty as obviously fault with bolt. Sent to formula who said it's not their problem..... Crap.... Then sent off to cube waiting for response. Fair play to lakes they put a spare brake on so I can ride.

The moral of the story is be v careful using aluminium bolts on ya brake levers, gonna change mine to titanium. Cheers

yep that is correct. if as supplied on a bike then it is upto Cube to sort.

That's the problem with going very light, things can become fragile.

The formula rep in the UK has been quite a bit of a douche in the past.

Contact USA if you need spare parts.

UK response (well if you can ever get him on the phone), no stock for 3 months then £30 for a bolt.

USA, parts sent for free, with spares, next day.

    Simples

    It is a fantastic brake,

The main complaint is the pads are too far away from pads, exaggerated with wear.

To get them closer just pop the wheel out and pump the level LOTS (normally about 30) until it is tight on the disk when you reinsert the disk, then it will auto adjust in a few minutes of riding.

lots of people do not know this and try over filling resevoir,

both have a similar result, but the overfill had the added bonus of tearing the internal diaphram ;-)
