Road Tyres for a MTB

Hi i use my rockrider mainly for training purposes to keep fit which i mainly use on road i am sure they are 26x2.1 can anyone recommend and road type tyres that are good and what size do i go for..Thanks

    Narrower are faster, but will give a harsher ride and can be more puncture prone.

    Conti GP or Specialized All Conditions both come in a 26x1.0

    There's plenty of options around 1.5" which is a sensible compromise.

    I use Schwalbe Marathons for commuting, they are the 1.75" version I think. They have served me well, really quick on the tarmac and not a single puncture as yet. They also seem to grip well in the wet.
