I do hope you all rode into work/school/Uni/Dole Office this morning?

Today, I shall mostly be doing nothing... :D

    Internet has been down all morning....it's back..
    Fingers crossed it will stay this way, a whole half day in the office with no internet = serious entertainment FAIL!

    I am also pooing myself for the emergency budget tomorrow. Chances of me still having a job at the end of it ? hmm :?

    finished installing windows 7 this morning (can't see any major differences from vista)

    no riding for me today, front pads are pretty much worn.

    will head off to work for a boring filled day.

    Rode in this morning. They've put on a free breakfast for us at work. Sausage bagels, bacon muffins, pastries, fruit, etc. AWESOME start to the week!

    Drivers must be aware of the fact it's bike week this week, because there were at least 5 instances this morning where drivers would usually have squeezed out of side-streets in front of me, but this morning, they all waited patiently, some even smiled :shock: It was surreal, quite scary even.

    This week, the wife has one of her friends staying with us for a wedding we're going to at the weekend. Which means I'll be out on the bike quite a lot this week. I may even go out with the local club at some point, see if they're all still lycra wearing, stuck-up, XC weight weenies like they were last time I went out with them.

    Morning all,

    Rode it to work as normal, didn't even know it was bike week! Looks like a day filled with meh, just waiting for the end of the month so I can afford the bits I need to get my bikes running sweetly again...getting depressed at all this nice weather and not having my AM bike ready to blast down the near-perfect trail condition in my local woods.

    Morning all!
    I rode in as usual this morning. I think I'm goin to have one of 'those' weeks. My cars heat indicator keeps maxing out and red lighting after about 40 miles, even though the radiator is full. Then the engine won't start if you turn it off and on again. Also, I think that my commuter has issues, lots of creaks and clicks that may have been going on for weeks (but as I listen to the radio, I wouldn't know :lol: ) and also, I have lots to do at work, with no windows, which sucks.

    Oh well, hopefully I'll win some money soon...

    Funny you should say that, I've just been handed an envelope stuffed with money, well £49 to be exact. I won the office bonus ball lottery again. :D

    Morning all,

    I was a good boy and rode in this morning. Nice still morning, no head or tail wind.

    Have plenty to do today, but again I’m very CBA.

    Brother in law has asked what bike he should get for a grand, I tried convincing him to up his budget and buy a half decent FS but he’s sticking and only wants a HT. (Yes, I was blatantly trying to make him get a FS so I could pinch it off him from time to time, FAIL) He asked a couple of months ago and I suggested the Boardman, “No, not touching Halfords” Snob. I’ll stick a list of options together for him, the Boardman will be at the top of that list. :wink:

    My boss is interviewing this week, so far he only has 1 woman in for an interview, poor show.

    Is it 5 yet?

    I've just been told the office is going to be closed on weds.

    Apparently, there is some sort of soccerball game against a team called Slovenia and everyone wanted the day off because it has some significance.

    All I know is that it's a free day off for me, and I'll be out on the trails which should be nice and empty :D

    I think that the problem they had here, is that due to the nature of the business, there are no internet restrictions, so if they'd said everyone had to stay in the office, they'd have all just been sat here watching it on t'internet anyway.

    I now have to give my minions a good kicking to get 5 days work out of them in 4 days.

    Cycled home today, Nightshift :( . Another 2 day week with a weekend start at 7pm Thurs and end at 7pm ? monday :D .

    Its going to be a good cycle week for me and what a start to it.

    Morning peeps

    5 hours at work later for 9 and a half hours pay, I love cherrypicking open jobs on my day off. I have got a load of stuff to get done in the next day or two but I'm soooo not motivated today

    Think I'll ride in though later
