cant make up my mind which ones to get here a short list
superstar mags.

DMR V12 Magnesium http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... odelID=484
Nuke Proof Proton Pedal

this is what superstar said about there mag pedals
Cast magnesium usually has imperfections in and is very brittle it is much
cheaper to make than extruded/CNC machined magnesium. Our extruded/CNC mag
pedals are much more durable and therefore can be made lighter than cheaper
cast ones.
price about the same
which would be strongist out out these ones
thanks for any help

Ignore the Nukeproofs, they are just a more expensive copy of the Superstars.

Personally, I would say go for the Superstars. I never got on with V8's/V12's. Tha bearings were rubbish so they would develop play within a matter of days and the platform was really small so my feet would always roll off them and either my shins would really hurt or my feet would since they had no support.

I know a lot of people don't find this, but I do.

MG1's and SS's are about even, V12's have useless seals

i think i will go for the mag, ss ones lose abit of wight too.

dmr pedals do seem to be abit of bmx style looking about time dmr up dated them.
ss pedals are thinner profile too.
hope they put them on offer have to wait until payday anyway.

have a look at the kona whah whah's, personaly i've found them better quality than the ones previously mentioned as mine have survived 2 years (and 2 winters) on bearing killing peak district mud with nothing more than a spray down with the hose

    grip awesome as well

Same as the Superstar Nano's except they have thinner pins and two more on each side than the thru-pins but don't have grub screws.

The body and axel and bearings are the same and I'm 99% sure they are made in the same factory
