disc brake mounting

so i have recently ordered new forks but am now having to switch from post mount to is mount for my disc brakes, i have brought adapters but think i might need to get a larger rotor? can anyone clarify...

    What size disc adapter did you buy? Then I think you've answered your question?

    if you got the correct adaptor there is no need to change disc size.

    dunno what size it is, ordered the adapter ages ago for another bike but never used it, guess i will just have to wait n see!
