Went over the bars on my bike and bent both brake levers. Once I'd straightened them I noticed that the front lever sat about 3mm further back than it did before. The reach screw is still there and in the same place. Any ideas what it could be?

    bent lever.

    and what direction is back?

back in lever return or back as in front wheel?

Towards the front wheel. It seems like it returns further back, rather than it being bent. The bit where the reach screw is now sticks out a fraction.

    Alright I took some pictures:

To the best of my knowledge, they were both set to the same reach before they were bent. Both reach screws are in the same position now.

I did a quick Google search and found someone with similar symptoms, but his master piston was leaking, whereas mine isn't.

The brake still works fine, so can I just adjust the reach and replace it all in the future?
