Recommendation for grips that dont slip off

The grips supplied with my Rock Lobster seem to slide off while I am riding and the two pieces of plastic that are supposed to hold them in both come on. I can see no alternative but to replace them, do lock on grips stay on properly, what grips can people recommend, ideally something available in a few colours!

I like ODIs there is generally a style that suits your hands and what you are doing. And they don't slip having two ali clamps an all-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford? :roll:0 -

I have Token lock ons on one bike and raceface on another - both stay in place well - the RF ones are more comfy and have better grip, the tokens are also wearing out pretty quick. The Tokens were only £11 though which I think is pretty cheap.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0

It has to be superstar lockons. £11 for a set in whatever colour you want, look good, feel good, spare parts avilable and made in the same place as far more expensive grips.0

lock on grips give you more wear in a lot of cases as you can twist them and lock in different positions where it's least worn.... paint hairspray or what ever works you're a bit stuck! when you want to take them off and on again..0

I never said they were good value & i wouldn't buy them myself.
The pic does however show how they lock on quite nicely

A quick blast of your other halfs can of hairspray inside the grip before you slide it on will weld it tight. Then a couple of drops of lube underneath it when you want them off again.0
