Am looking at a couple of Bianchi's, 1 is a 53cm and the other a 56. I am 5'9" with an inside leg of 30 in. Can anyone provide sum help as to which one would be a better fit for me?

Best bet is to go here and fill the numbers in. Won't take long and you'll see more convincingly how you fit the geometry. I don't fit Bianchis in any size.[/list]

If its any help, I'm 5'8" with a 29" inside leg and my LBS tells me a 55 Bianchi will be the best for me. It should arrive in a couple of days for me to try properly, but I did sit on a 55 Bianchi in the shop, and although not the exact model I ordered, it felt fine.
  • i ride a 55cm Bianchi Cento Strade and i'm 5'11".

I just got fitted for a Bianchi C2C 828 Infinito size 55. I am 5' 11.5" and it fitted perfectly. The Bianchi sizes are from the centre of the b/b to the centre of the the virtual top tube (ie the top tube if it was horizontal. As always, top tube length is just as important.

if Italian frames are anything like Italian cycling jerseys, you're going to need a XXXXL (unless of course you are actually tall in which case go a size further up!). I reckon they must have passed a law to calibrate their size charts for everything with reference to what Berlusconi says is the size of his own P**nis!

Sorry, rant over! Any hobbits out there want to buy two very attractive Italian cycling tops, size XXL? :(
