I am looking at getting some Lake shoes (4 hole cleat fit). I havnt found anywhere remotely close where I can go and try before I buy so its gonna be an internet purchase.

I read on 1 shops web site that you sould probably go up a size over your normal.

Anyone have any experience with these?

I a normally a size 10. I am thinking of going for a size 45 which I understand is a 10.5, or should I go for a 45.5 (11)?

Thanks

I have a pair of Lake road shoes; my feet are size 8 (42) in normal shoes but the Lakes are 43. My feey are quite wide fitting and the Lakes are comfortable.

Lidl 43s against Lake 44s. Was going to buy another pair but Wiggle no longer do the model I want. I can still buy them elsewhere but for £70 and not the £45 I paid :(
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I've got Lake shoes, and ended up buying a size up.
  • Thanks all.

I'll go a full size up.

    Hi,

Just to add, after having a bit if a problem with road shoes sizing I purchased some of these
    http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Lake_ ... 360045307/

They fit like a glove, I am a size 10 in every shoe I own and I purchased these in a size 10 and can even fit a pair of seal skinz socks inside on wet day's. I hope this does not confuse the issue its just a bit of advice.

Which size did you get? The link doesnt go to a specific size.

    Thanks

Sorry to confuse this but I have just looked at my shoes and they are size 45, I was sure they were size 10 but by the charts they are oversize! In that case go with the 45 and they should fit well.

I don't know what model of shoe you are looking at buying but these are fantastic and could not recommend them any higher.
  • Thanks Spadger. 45 it is.

Just to back up all other comments,

I have recently ordered the Lake CX235C shoes, i'm normally a size 10 in regular shoes, ordered these in the 45 (UK 11) and they fit really well and are a quite a wide fit also, compared to my Shimano shoes anyway.
