go on, give us a clue - what pedals do you have..?
by the look of the soles, they will fit any standard two bolt or three bolt pedal system (ie all of them) - so you must have some pretty unusual pedals...0 -
Why don't they fit your pedals?
They have fixings for two hole and three hole cleats. He is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0 -
are you joking - thoes are old fashioned toe-cage pedals - of course your shoes will fit - just put them on and insert them into the big space in the pedal.....0
-
They fit in, obviously, but they don't clip in. There's the holes in the bottom of them, that serve a purpose, which aren't doing so with the current pedal I have.
Not joking! I'm new to this cycling malarky!0 -
OK, these are good http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=5369
These are better http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=22687
Either ones will work well with your new shoesHe is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0 -
they don't clip in for two reasons
1 those are old, traditional toe-clip/strap pedals - there is nothing for them to clip into
2 you have no cleats - you will need to buy a set of 'clipless' pedals which will come with cleats supplied0 -
You can buy a traditional pedal cleat to fit a modern road shoe - try Dromarti - expensive though - probably more than you paid for the pedals.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Strictly MTB pedals but loads of people use them on road bikes. Plus they're great and about the cheapest pair of pedals you can buy.0 -

To use clipless shoes, you must use clipless pedals.
The shoes have cleats attached to them, and these cleats clip into the pedals.
You need to replace your pedals and toeclips with clipless pedals.0
