Crappy weather here too. Raining and foggy. No racing today.

Might pop down to watch the entertainment and have a few jars later this evening if it clears up a bit. It's supposed to be a display by "The Blades" (aerobatic team) tonight.

Hopefully, they'll not cancel them like they did with the spitfires last night.

Tell me about it...Always happens when I need to use the car for work. :(

And, I didn't get the "Your order has been completed" email from CRC, so it means the new tyres for the commuter won't be here today. :(

And I've got no minions to fetch me coffee! :(

I think I need something bacon themed for 2nd breakfast...

bails87, I’m going to start charging royalties on that soon…..

MacAndCheese, my brother’s going with a few mates as well. They’ve been going on and off for about the last 6 years.

    Morning all,

Would like to start with a PSA:

YOU, YES YOU IN THE 4X4. NO, YOU DO NOT OWN THE BLOODY ROAD, YOUR EXTRA ROAD TAX DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET MORE RIGHTS THAN US SMALL CARS. IF YOU PULL OUT ON ME LIKE THAT AGAIN THEN GIVE ME THE LOOK LIKE I’M IN THE WRONG YOU WILL FEEL THE FULL FURY OF MY D-LOCK. YOU GET ME? YOU COMPLETE TWUNT! That is all.

Raining here, today is a car day anyway so no major loss. Got scalped on the way home last night, guy was a lycra’d up roadie but it still sucked. Hopefully weather will clear up tonight so I can get out for a bit, need to be out on the bike as much as I can. Being off it last week, yesterday’s ride in felt harder than it should.

I’m sure I have work type stuff to do, but for the life of me I can’t be bothered to remember what they are.

    Is it 5 yet?

Loverly ride to work with soaking baggy shorts  Had to ride through the city today instead of around as the wife needed her bike lock key

Squinting at the screen as I am waiting for my glasses to drip dry (too lazy to try to buff the lenses)

    Morning all.
Had a lie in this morning, woke at 7:30, got up, had breakfast and then woke The Boy up. Now if only he would sleep like that all the time.

Getting myself mentally prepared to get wet on a ride in a few mins. its too hot to wear anything other than a t, yet its soggy enough to need too. Do I get wet from the inside or the outside? Outside me thinks.
I have had enough of being sticky sweaty at work. So a bit of weather on my skin won't go a miss.

Feeling a bit cheated at the mo, working shifts and every other weekend has meant i have been boiled at work and had no sun to ride in. 105+ degree for 12 hours of graft makes you want more sun on the days off. Grumble grumble bah grumble.

Commuted in again today. I'm really liking this new commute in. Takes me about 30 mins and includes ups as well as downs, so I feel like I'm actually getting some good exercise in the morning. The commute home last night took about 40mins, but I stopped at one point as a woman (nb an old, ugly possible drug addict woman) had collapsed at a bus stop so I offered my first aid services, but they didn't need me.

I'm starving, yet don't like to eat before 1pm :? hmmm

I have to wait a couple of weeks before I get interweb at home, so for now I shall have to keep using my work time (wo is me)

I'm going sailing.Pity it's the first day of shitty weather for a while. Anyway we need to get some training in for Friday, where we will take part in the Færder'n boat race. Which is fun. Last year I missed it due to broken arm so I haven't actually been on a boat for about 2 years. Watch me mess up everything.

    Ey-up all...

In the office at the moment, trouble shooting PowerPoint to PDF conversion, even on press quality settings the embedded charts (Excel) are coming out shite..... think I have nailed it though....

My new Ti pedals from superstar still havent turned up, and they were sent on Friday!! :(

However, my new chain, Goodridge gear cable set, and new Met Veleno SIM helmet turned up this morning literally as I was walking out of the door - so some fettling may be in order tonight... or may leave it til Im fresh headed saturday morning, then I shall take the Cotic out on its Maiden voyage :) 8)

Sailing failure. Or at least electrical failure. Of the ignition system, we never even got started. Hopefully this can be repaired before Friday which is race day.

Good choice. I've just got a Veleno D from Fudges Cycle store, £25 cheaper than anywhere else with very quick delivery too. :D
