Took the hub axle out of my Sun Abbah/Lawwill hub to be replaced with a new 12mm one. The old one, with bearing:

New one:

And my question is, where does the bearing go on the new axle? Just slide onto the end?

Thanks

on axles like that they go the whole way to the shoulder so the inner race is supported.

do you have the correct axle?

Do you mean the bearing on the old axle? Yeah, that wasn't pushed on completely, was just for the pic.

This is the axle I bought:

Not sure if you know what i'm trying to ask - do I just press the bearing onto the new axle, where the arrow shows?

I'm just abit confused, as when the bearing is on the new one, it sits flush with the edge of the axle, whereas on the old one, there was some 'excess' axle showing?
