Sportive Wheels for heavier rider

Hi, looking a bit of advice on upgrading to a decent set of wheels, but I have a bit of a weight issue. I am currently 88Kgs (kitted out) and I am training on Mavic Aksium Race wheels and a pair of Planet-X Model B's. I have ridden a couple of Sportives recently and I wouldn't mind a hand with lighter wheels on some of the steeper hills.
I have a budget of up to £500. Can anyone suggest a decent set that will take my weight?

heheh, I would say the Campagnolo Shamals Ultra for ultra-boomproofness but you can also go for the Dura Aces 7850 which are highly rated here and are supposed to have a great ride quality.

Try the search function. This question gets asked and discussed at least once a week.

    But I'd suggest these -

I ran them when I was 95kg. Fantastic wheels.

You will get the usual suggestions of Easton, hand builts, Fulcrum, Mavic etc etc etc...

Stallion is a euphamism for (in my case) fat boy. I bought a set at great expense after reading a review on bike radar, fitted them with puncture proof schwalbe durano tyres and they are THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. Not cheap mind... :D
  • Cheers guys, looks like dura-ace then.
