Hi,

Has anyone got any experience of this product ? it seems surprisingly cheap at around £40 so I wondered how it compared to a Mule (non-NV) for instance, in terms of storage space in particular.

Thanks!!

I have no experience of the Fox pack myself but I do have a Mule (non-NV). It appears to be quite similar from having a look at photos, although it doesn't look quite as big. It would seem to state that the water capacity is 2 liters, whereas the MULE is 3 litres - I suspect a bigger bladder could be used, space dependent of course though.

At 40 quid it does seem to be a bit of a bargain.

Bikeradar review and MTBR reviews might be of use (although I suspect you may of seem them)

Just realised that what I have written may not help at all, but oh well :D

 - don't worry, this is quite useful as Merlin as the Mule for £48, which might make more sense as I have had CB for a long time and it's a known quantity. But typically, they're out of stock in black now!!!

If it helps you won't be able to get any 2010 Fox hydration packs in Europe because hardly any of the 2009 packs sold.

The '2010' Oasis recently reviewed by BR is in fact the 2009 version.

I was after the new Portage and after I contacted Fox was told that at present no 2010 hydration packs would be available in Europe.

From what I've read in US reviews they are pretty good packs and they are certainly priced to compete...but it seems us Europeans love our CamelBaks/Dakines too much and Fox have been left trailing.
