BB compatibility? FC-R600 to 2010 Ultegra or others?
Hi,
First post so here goes...
I'm new to road biking as I've ridden mountain bikes for the past 20 years.
I just bought a used Merlin Agilis. The cranks are 170mm and I'm finding them way too short given that I'm used to 175mm mtb cranks.
I'd like to switch to either 172.5mm or 175mm cranks (I'm 5'9").
My bike currently has a Shimano FC-R600 crankset and matching bottom bracket.
Question: Is my current BB compatible with 2010 Ultegra Cranks? Any other crank arms I can use on the existing BB? Where can I find a compatibility chart?
Or, should I just swap out the whole BB and crank?
