what's the part(s) that you are least happy with?

e.g. would you prefer slicker shifting, better braking, more controlled and responsive suspension?

Do you want to lose a bit of weight?

What sort of riding do you do?

    What is your budget?

There are loads of improvements that could be made to almost any bike, but it's all a queation of what you want to improve, how much you want to improve it and therefore how much you are willing to spend.

you can pick up some rockshox tora's for about £150, or look out for some second hand Fox 32's.
  • love scotts, make probably the best alloy hardtails, but i am biased

Personally having upgraded mine i wished id upgraded my forks first. I upgraded my wheels and brakes first... well i lie i upgraded my bottom bracket and cranks cos they got worn out after my first 2 months of riding :?

First are the pedals. Get some decent ones like the DMR V8 for £20 or better.
Next is the fork, for £125 you can get a Recon Silver from Merlin.

Then what ever you don't like, except the frame which looks good.
