Tacx Tao broke

Anyone else had this? i've now had 2 Tacx tao's break, yesterday one fell off in the middle of a clubrun!

My club mate has also had one go, is this a common thing?

    I had one break a few weeks ago, the bottom bit cracked and the bottle fell through, luckily it was close enough to rest on the frame without falling on the road
    I like bikes...

    Not had one go so far. Got two on the bike atm.

    I've had them break - they don't like any sideways load as it breaks the weld where the aluminium is secured to the plastic 'spine' - that said, there's few bottle cages that hold a bottle so securely and yet you don't have to wrangle the bottle out when you need it.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    I've had mine for 5 years or so and only a baggage handler managed to break one. Replaced it and been fine ever since.
