Is it ok to fit a shimano bottom braket with truativ

I ve got a spare shimano hollowtech2 bottom bracket and my mrs needs hers replaced. She currently has a truativ firex chainset. Will they work together or do i need a truativ bottom bracket?

What bottom bracket does the firex have?

Actually it wouldn't fit with any Truvativ/

If it's a hollow one, they're a different size to the shimano and raceface ones, so you'll need a truvativ BB.
