Chorus rear mech clash
Bike fitted with standard 2008 Chorus rear mech. Changed to my 10 speed Chorus cassette (29-12) for recent Majorca trip. Severe clash between top jockey wheel and 3 biggest cogs!! A minor pull back of the derailleur (only 5mm-ish), and the clash disappears, ie mimicking the effect of a "B-screw". Of course this mech has no such screw...but Dura-Ace have! Weird! It isn't chain length (tried that). This all worked fine on previous 2003 Chorus 10-speed bike.
Are current rear mechs designed to cope with max 26 tooth cog, ie compact set-ups?
Option is to make a trick washer for between rear mech and drop-out with lug set to pull the mech rearwards??
Am I missing something??

Try the little screw underneath - that's meant to adjust for exactly this issue.
