Giant seat pin creaking!
Giant FCR1, 27.2 carbon seat pin with alloy shim , marked up as 31.7? bike not that old , pin greased up with proper carbon fitting grease, but will not stop creaking , clean and grease ok for a couple of days then back to creaking, driving me NUTS! Cant find any reference to a 31.7 shim? or is this just a Giant thing.

whipped the post and the shim out, thoroughly cleaned inside tubing, shim and post and applied some copper grease
refitted and tightened up and its been fine all week, done 160miles on it in silence
