It's coming down rapidly, came down from 10'45 to around 10'30 in a couple minutes
edit: the timings all over the place, who knows?? :oops:0 -
Shame Gibo didn't get into this one. His chances are running out.0

Steven Kruijswijk doing pretty OK here, for a neo-pro late minute Giro sub for Freire; he was also in the L'Aquila break0

Cyclingnews: "Efimkin and Sorensen are probably the strongest riders in the break in terms of climbing ability. The Dane having already won a stage in this year's race."......
Nicki, Chris, all those Danish names. Difficult, difficult0 -

This stage could be turning into one of those lazy, hot Tourist affairs....."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Gibo went in an earlier move but it was pulled back.0

Looks like they will stay away....PTP whitewash?
Would like to see Cummings get the win."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -

Looks like it.
Tough to pick a winner from the breakaway. I'd like to see Amador or Arashiro get it.0 -
Or Ignatiev, obviously.0

Pah. At least I called a breakaway. I claim moral PTP points. And bloody Efkim was tails to Moncoutie's heads. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -

Cunego must be really up for this 20th place.0

I stand corrected, apologies to Mr Kelly.0 -
Liquigas come to the front. Maybe a few fireworks?"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

Setting a high pace so no-one can attack? Don't we normally boo that? :-)Le Blaireau (1)0

Good win for Monier.Le Blaireau (1)0

A Frenchman wins a major mountain stage of a grand tour. Is there where we start asking if he can win the Tour de France one day?0
-
Well done all three. Monier, great win, clearly the strongest, after a good performance yesterday - break-through?
Kruijswijk, incredible performance for a neo-pro, again in a break
Hondo, well done for who was probably the fastest of the 19, ending up in the best climbing break0 -
The Leakys look to be "doing a LPR" :-)Le Blaireau (1)0

Arroyo will be happy with that day in the saddle.0
-
I almost want to go back to doping chat after that stage.....
Cofidis's Giro is a slam dunk. Well done Monsieur Monier on the breakthrough."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Tomorrow could well become a recovery ride for everyone but the sprinters, so it's all to do for Basso & Evans on Fri/Sat if they want to reel in Arroyo.0
-
Incredible finish to the Giro mind. Friday and Saturday look horrendous - can see lots of time lost on both stages. And the time trial could see some more time exchanged between the leaders.
Giro is an amazing race - no.1 GT course by a long way for me in terms of the parcours and excitement.0 -

Agree... But I must admit that it hurt my eyes looking at his riding style... He beats Noddy Chris Sorensen to the prize for the most unconventional riding style (aka bucking bronco award)**************************************************

I dont think they have got it
I suspect they too are going fall apart in the hills
we could have every man for himself come fri sat...
scarponi needs to go down the road and garzelli is probbaly up for a go as well"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way.
