i'd rather have the scott, mainly because they're a riot to ride (particularly the spark).

plus it'd be a sweet frame to put all my white parts on!

The scott looks like a decent spec. full-sus bike whereas the trek looks like a fairly basic entry-level hardtail - depends what you're after... if someone offered both to me i'd have the scott - much better componentry & less likely to need upgrading anytime soon - the sparks are supposed to be nice bikes to ride too.
