make sure the steerer has a nice chamfer on the inside and then put a but of rubber grease on the O ring and tap the hed doc in."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I couldnt get mine in with the rubber seal either, just take the seal off and pop it in without it, works fine. Tighten it up a bit before inserting it in so i doesnet fall right down.0

same here, didnt fit my revs with the rubber o ring so binned it, fits fine afterwards.
just make sure you tighten the allen bolt to expand it a bit 1st so its a snugg fit otherwise it will drop down the steerer.0 -

It just took a tap with a hammer to get it into my toras, comes out with no problems either, just a socket and a piece of dowel and the everpresent hammer-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford? :roll:0 -
I love these things, both more complicated and less effective than a SFN, as well as more expensive. Go Hope!Uncompromising extremist0
