Time RXS - bearing service...

Has anyone successfully serviced the bearings on their Time RXS pedals - if so, how..?

The factory tool does not seem to be available anywhere and it seems fairly clear that Time does not encourage people to service the bearings themselves - so if there are any tips or creative ways of accessing/replacing the bearings, I'd be grateful to hear em... :|

    Same problem here and as you unfortnately haven't found a solution. Therefore I am very interested to see if anyone can help.

    Yes, I've had my RXSs open - I used a vice to clamp the metal bit, then rotated the body. It wasn't too hard and there's only one bearing to replace IIRC.
