I got a Blackburn Airtower 2 about 8 months ago and it's a great bit of kit but recently the valve head has stopped gripping the valve on the road tubes, it get upto 80psi the flies off. I have e-mailed Blackburn but have had no reply. Has anyone else had this or experianced Blackburns customer service?

Contact the bike shop you bought it from, "all Blackburn products have a no-quibble lifertime warranty" (direct quote from the Madison 2010 catalogue. If the shop can't help then contact Madison, the importer/distributor and take them up on that warranty. www.madison.co.uk )

Should be easy enough to get rebuild kits for them to (think CRC stock)

I can't remember where I got it from which is an issue, I have seen that they do a new head but it's £14, I can't see anyway of getting into the head to rebuild it. Still no response from Blackburn.

contact madison rather than Blackburn in the US, they should honour the warranty regardless of where you bought it. Worth a try anyway.

I had a similar problem and the only option was to buy the new hose and head.
Has worked pefect since (quite a few years), despite the original lasting about a year.
