Evening guys, I thought I would try and put some pics up of my current bike.
I am enjoying riding aboard this one, its a whole lot of bike for £900 !! Im so pleased with it,
just stamp on the cranks and she will take off and the handling is fantastic.
I felt I had to get a shorter stem as I found the stock 100mm a tad to long for my 42 year old arms  so went to a 70mm, also found the stock bars too narrow so went to 700mm.
Fingers crossed that the photos will come up, bear with me if they dont

Hey Robie P nice to see someone else joining the club! I'm loving mine all though I'm yet to swap the bars & stem though I will be doing this soon as you said stem too long and bars too short. Other than that its a top bike and IMO the best value 140mm HT about but then I would say that0
-
Either I'm colourblind or just not seeing it but I cant see an ounce of gold on the actual frame so how is it matching it.
There! just in front of the rear disc mount I think
Lovely bike (though I'd have different bars )0 -
Thanks for the comments gents
@ bobcheese, Yes I agree that these are great value bikes for less than 1k.0 -
Yeah, i did seriously consider selling up and buying one of these. If i get fed up with full suspension, it would still be a very real consideration, great spec for the money.
Lovely looking bike
EDIT: i see you got the pro FRS stem for it, i've not seen one before apart from mine! i just bought the black one, very cool looking bit of kit!
I think the gold works well too0 -

Thats a sticker, I think.
Anyway its a nice bike (apart from the gold, I agree with Jay), your seatpost seems very low though, much standover clearance?0 -
Thats a sweet looking bike, the gold bars look ok..kona caldera 20100

That's not a bike, that's a weapon.
Maybe the bars don't match, but that gold looks stunning. Awesome job man.0 -
I like it - the gold bars look awesome!0

I love mine. They look better in the flesh TBH. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the Elixir's are R and not R carbon and they where silver ones and not white. White ones would have looked soooo much better. Says something about the quality of the bike when thats all you can find to moan about0

Love these bikes, really really love 'em.0

Thanks again for the comments gents.
I hit the trails with it yesterday and I am most impressed with the way it handles, I was riding them switch backs with a big grin on my face ! used to go alot slower through them on the old bike
The maxale sure makes things a lot more positve up front with them there 140mm rev's and man o man them brakes are something else now they have settled .
I would recomend one of these machines to anyone...although the have gone up £100 again ( £999.99 now) still worth it IMO.

is it weird that I don't like the gold and don't really like the green but love the look of the bike?
I think it's awesome looking even though my brain tells me I don't like it.... :P0
