Tired, want to go back to bed, had not much sleep.... am feeling the effects of the long hours now.....
On a brighter note, I just fondled my new frame
Another busy day, and no doubt another long one too.... may leave on time tonight. Meh! Who am I kidding
Now, am thinking, due to all this overtime, should I get some 'new' Saint cranks?

Still waiting on bearing cups, grips, headcam, oooh and there's a scandal frame on ebay that i may just purchase???0 -

VW Surfbum - good luck!!!!!!
Llandegla tonnight on the single speed as I haven't got round to sorting the brakes on the P7. Don't mind the lack of gears, its the lack of suspension that kills me0 -

Yawn...Good morning freaks!
VWSurfbum
Good Luck!
I really must stop staying up to watch the live cycling (Tour of California) and actually get some sleep.
Got soaked on the ride into work and again got held up by the barrage barrier. Still, according to my GPS, which is never wrong, my average speed was 125mph! Must be getting old and slow...
Not much happening today (work-wise), might browse for future bike upgrades.0 -
Morning all,
Actually had a lay in this morning, tired from a day of bike building yesterday! Looks like a nice day is on the cards, might nip out for a little road ride (yes i know!) just to make sure I've set the gears etc up ok.
All the best Mr & Mrs VWSurfbum we were 40weeks +1, fingers crossed for you too!0 -
Good morning rejects.
It's raining and foggy here today. Bad Times
That is all.
Oh, and good luck Mr & Mrs VW0 -
Morning all. Warm evenings, short sleeves and dusty trails life is good.
All the best VW 8)0 -
Good luck VW household!
Today was a really nice ride into work. Nice and warm, with the sun breaking through very occasionally. Twas nice. The coat has stayed at home as it's getting far too hot to ride in.
Today I have a little work to do, but nothing too challenging. I shall be looking for bike frames i think, as I'm thinking in a few months I may upgrade my current one.It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
Join us on UK-MTB we won't bite, but bring cake!

Good morning and what a great morning it is ! Sun is shining, T shirt and short weather ! Recovered from my explosive vomitting yesterday ... That was scary ! Throwing up constantly for 2 minutes at a time every half hour or so
Just entered my first race of the local series down at Fowlmead ... on a 140mm Full susser !0 -
I have done all my local series on the Genius which is 5" travel, and i wasnt the only one on big travel bikes, there was one guy on this burly looking kona, either he was super fit or he got the wrong type of race?
Doesnt matter what you use just enjoy the day and dont take it too seriously, you'll end up being like one of those lycra roadies?0 -
VWSurfbum, good luck mate. You know the other way of kicking things off? Could be your last chance for a while……
Morning all,
Nice blue skies, not too hot, not too cold, good times….
Gave the Scott a quick run out and wash off last night, got a call from the woman while I was out, “I can hear a load of sirens going by and down Breakspear (the road I go down), you haven’t been splatted have you?” She calls me every time I’m out and she hears sirens.
Found a piccy of me from Sunday's ride, unfortunately I didn't see the camera until too late so didn't get chance to pull my "This is easy" pose, all you can see is me with head down trying not to die.
Nice ride in today, wasn’t really pushing but still came close to my PB. The fitness must be sneaking up on me.
This morning has mostly been wasted in meetings and validating data, hopefully this afternoon will be wasted in an equally easy manner.
Are we nearly there yet?"I ride to eat"0 -
Bloody customs charges I've got to pay before I can get my rotors!
Still far cheaper than buying them from the UK mind0 -
