Need new pair of flat pedals but after a bad experience with Easton Cullys, bearings didn't last five minutes I'm struggling to decide. I've narrowed it down to:
Straitlines, Point One Racing Podiums, Nukeproof Neutrons, DMR V12 Mags or Shimano MX30's.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Either the Straitlines or the Nukeproof if it was my money.
Looking at both of these myself and edging slightly more towards the Straitlines, yes they are heavier but look slightly more robust and you get a choice of colours.
Have a set of DMR V8's and I dont like the profile/pin lay out, doesnt work for me.0 -

if you can find them. I've got a set on back order from the distributor, who've got just enough coming to cover the back orders, i'd chat to your lbs about ordering a pair, they should be in by the end of the month.
The nuke proof and straightline ones are nice, but these are in another league by all accounts.0 -
wait for point 1's or get MG1'sI like bikes and stuff0

If you kill the bearings in cullys then the mg-1 wont last too well either.
My housemate (admittedly an untalented hairy gorilla of a bike rider) managed to shear the cartridge bearing0 -

Yeah i'm thinking of getting some new pedals and looking at either the nukeproof neutron or the straitline SC platforms, sort of leaning towards the straitlines as they're extra blingy! I was thinking of some superstar nano pedals, but i hear superstar bearings aren't great.0

+1
All Superstar pedals are great, I use the Nano Thru-pins and can't fault them.
Go for the Superstars instead opf Nukeproofs since they are EXACTLY the same pedal except the SS are cheaper and come in lots of shiny colours0 -
+1 for superstars flatties
my brother just got the CNC nano tech flats and really likes them and they're really cheap for what you're getting0 -

Bearings are fine. I have run them through winter, through bogs, lakes and rivers. No issues so far. Had them about 12 months
