It is a case of what fits - try as many as you possibly can.
Also have a read of the What Size thread.
5ft 7 is only 3 inches less than the national average, and plenty of bikes will fit you.0 -
How about one of these in a 15" :
http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/custom-mountain-bikes/merlin-mountain-bikes/merlin-malt-21.html
OR you may be able to squeeze a custom built Handsom Dog Arrow from All Terrain cycles. THats what I did for my wife who's 4'10". Nice light frame and you can built up to your budget and get the parts you want.0 -
5'7" isn't that short at all.0
-
Napolean was short, Hitler was short, Attila the Hun was short, Julius Caesar was short.
CONCLUSION: Don't feck around with short guys!
Got me the same "problem" @ 5ft 61/2 ins. ( Don't forget the 1/2...)
Jamis Komodo was a 17", KHS Montana Pro was 15" others have been Small, some are Medium. You just gotta try em out if poss.0 -
I got a Proflex 768, small, which is nice. And a Norco Bigfoot, Med. Both fit me well.
Too much bike/s for me at the mo, due to injury. Turbo/road only for a while.
Proflex Whole bike is 28.5lbs. 4ins rear. Norco has Kona rigids.
Might split if you want?0 -

most bikes come in a size that would fit you, i can't see the problem, aside from bikes for you actually sit on. Go to a good bike shop (i.e. not halfrauds) and they should have some stuff for you to try.0 -
Hitler, 5ft 8ins.
Napolean, 5ft 61/2 ins.
Julius Caesar, 5ft 4ins.
Attila the Hun, can't trace it.
So, yeah, not tiny but NOT huge either...
I feel like Giant now!0 -
QUite tall for the time periods lol.0

I'll ask my mates:
Nigel, 6ft 4ins.
Steve: 6ft 6ins.
Derrick, 6ft 7ins.
Also had a guy who left the City of London Police, to join the Mets who was around 6ft 9ins.
Nickname in the "City" was Nat. West...0 -

Mrs is 4ft 11 and an arf..
Always go out with women with small hands.
It makes yer knob look bigger.0 -

Same reason I date children.
And when they winge you can beat them as opposed to having to buy them shoes.
It's apparently OK to smack your crying child, but abuse if you smack your crying wife (who probably did actually deserve it).
