how they decide the running order?

    Team classimication, reverse order.

Thought it was reverse rider GC.

Huh. I was going by what Harmon said, but now that I look, it's not the teams classification, but not reverse GC either.

Millar is 3rd, but Garmin are 7th last off the ramp. I dunno...

The order most likely to get an Italian team win?

    Just a thought.

Now in da (start) house - Team Sky. Wiggins doesn't like the camera attention and waves away the TV crew which, presumably, was quite far away anyway.

"Mr. Brailsford. make the small camerman go away"

"Now concentrate this time Bradlee. This camerman ..is very small. Those cameramen ..are far away. "

#176 is suffering, missing turns, just about hanging on the back.

Good god, what is it with riders foaming at the mouth in TTs? First Pinotti in stage 1, and now Trofimov doing a passable impression of Cujo.

Everyone riding in sunshine except for Sky in the pouring rain. How is this possible?

Sky quickest at first time check.

    Chucking it down now though.

massive cloudburst following Sky around course - Katusha clearly employing the Kremlin's weather controlling technology.

From a distance, Scarponi's helmet makes it look like he's headbutted a cowpat.

What is it with Italians and terrible aero helmet decals?

Millar likes TTing in the rain, they will be OK. Remmeber Nantes 2003 and Albi 2007. :D

I always feel so bad for the teams that have to go in the rain after others got dry weather. It seems so unfair, but that's the way it goes.

    Amazing ride by BMC though!

Yes because he messed up big time in stage 3. He says he wanted the first 9 days or so to be a dress rehearsal for the Tour....................................
