8 speed Chorus R Mech gear range?

My missus has an old c1991 Campag Chorus groupset which has the narrowest range of gears going.
I'm wondering if a 13-26 cassette will work with her derailleur in that it will be able to cope with the range of gears like a 10speed Dura Ace will take a range of 11-27 for example.
I've searched and searched to no avail.
Her derailleur is the same as this one..

And I'm hoping to be able to use this cassette

I'm using an 8spd Chorus rear mech with a 28t rear cassette and a compact chainset on one of my bikes, no problems.0

I actually just found this site where you can download the orig catalogues as pdf...they say 26 capacity so all good.
