Sunday lunch...

In a bid to manage my weight, I have just had a bowl of Lentil Soup, 1 round of (dry) bread, and an apple! Instead of my 'normal' massive Sunday lunch, with a seet dessert.
I had to exit the galley sharpish, before I saw anyone tucking into any Sticky Toffee Pudding
I do believe that that would hve sent me over the edge...

Eat what you want but smaller portions, mate. I'll expect a late reply as you'll have to rush to the galley to see if there's any STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING left.

I just had a ham & cheese toastie for lunch.
Did 20 miles this morning. 1/2 way through the ride my cycling buddy phoned and asked about a ride at 2:30. So that will 30-35 miles. I just got in after the first ride and one of the girls from the pub text me to ask if I could do some miles with her at 6:30 as she's doing the L2B and hasn't done any training.

Methinks I'll burn off the toasie so conscious will be clear.

*Actually, as it's you, discount that. I don't think 5 seconds will do much :wink:

I think where I "slip up" is my Sunday lunch aperitif is usually three or four pints of real ale. :)

I made cheese and spinach souffle today. My girlfriend was as impressed as you'd expect.

Special 'K' for dinner, with a very sparse salad on the side, followed by two dry Ryvita(sp)!

I had a big meaty, cheesy lasagne. And a beer. Healthy food is just not nice.
