Suggests that their may be "Intelligent Life" on at least 10 other planets.

Of course, this doesn't include Professional Football players...who are on a Planet all of their own.

    I am yet to be convinced that there is intelligent life on Earth. If we humans were intelligent we wouldnt be so busy destroying our only planet.

    To think we are the only intelligent life in a universe of such immense, incomprehensible, mind melting scale is naive beyond belief.

    the only equation you need is
    N+1
    where N=bikes owned and +1 the amount needed

    Or rather X=N+1

    X = bikes owned
    N = bikes needed

    Your algebra-fu is weak, grasshoppa.

    Surely you mean N = X+1

    if N = bikes needed, and X bikes owned.

    For me, I have more than I need, i.e. X>W>N

    Where X=owned, W=want, N=need

    I agree. Sort of.

    The thing is, yes the universe is immense, but so is TIME.

    Humans have been in existence for such a pathetically thin sliver of all time (and will no doubt cease to exist in an even thinner sliver), the odds of another intelligent species existing at the same time as ourselves might actually turn out to be quite small. Even more so if we cut the numbers down to ones that might be realistically contactable.
    You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
    If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
    If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

    I either think we are the only ones out there, or there are fuck loads of us A couple, or ten planets with life seems more unlikely to me.
