it occured to me the other day after having trouble setting up a mates gears.
9 speed shimano shifter
105 derrailuer
sram 9 speed cassette
sram 9 speed chain
should it be running a ten speed chain incase its catching on the derraileur cage?

so a road front mech with MTB shifters?
you will never get it right in a triple.
but again you are missing a lot of info as to what is there.

god knows why i wrote front its the rear deraileur
the front cranks are truvativ hussefelt with no guide just a bash ring
fresh cable using fresh goodridge outers.0
