    If I am late then you can decide the merit of it, but there has been nothing sinister in my timings and just thought the comment above was the norm.

    As a former racing official, I always looked at the Grey area before making a decision and preferred to bend a rule because I don't like hard and fast rules. (ie doing 34 mph in a 30 limit is not doing any harm unless it's a shopping or school area and that could be a voluntary 24mph)
