Boadman Team FS or the Voodoo Canzo?

Which of these bikes do you reckon would be the better buy – Boadman Team FS or the Voodoo Canzo? They’ve got pretty similar specs I think, not sure which is the better fork the Revalation 409 on the Voodoo or the Reba SL on the Boardman. The Voodoo has the Monarch 3.3, which I presume is better than the 3.1 on the Boardman. Ritchey finishing kit on the Boardman versus Raceface Evolve XC on the Voodoo. Gonna get something on the Cycle to Work scheme so need to get it from Halfords, though apparently they can order in any bike. Any other recommendations for a full suss for about a grand?

    The Canzo has a little more travel and is probably slightly weightier.

    Both are excellent value - go for what feels best to you.

    As far as I am aware, Halfords do not order bikes in any more.

    My personal view would be the Voodoo...the reverlation in my opinion is the better fork and with U-turn gives you the flexibility to alter the fork travel. Having a bolt through axle is another plus as it keeps the front track nice and ridgid. The rest in terms of kit is very similar..the rear monarch shock ain't the best but by looking after it should do you well. The Voodoo has X9 at the rear as oposed to X7 on the CB....though the CB is slightly lighter

    Again my view is the Voodoo...better fork and a great value bike for the money....also be different !! everyone bands on abot the CB range being great value but so is this..you will get lots of different answers..so the decision lies with you...sit on them both and have a tootle round the car park..then go with the one that feels right...

    Yes, I guess that's the best advice, unfortunatley none of my local stores have either bike in stock!

    The fork is an older Rev mind - has the pike lowers and and an older air cart. Adds on a bit of weight.

    I notice that the frame on the halfords version of the Canzo is different than that featured on the Voodoo website. The rear pivot is located differently, but I'm not sure how this will affect handling.
