Handsome Dog frame

Daughter is considering 'doing' something to the frame on her MTB, the Scott frame has been painted badly and we have 3 options.
1/ Strip it and spray it properly (cost will be about £25)
2/ Get a decent used frame and reframe it (frame will probably coat £25-35 plus sundries for bits that don't quite fit!)
3/ Get a handsome dog frame (from all terrain) as used by SuperS in many of his 'virtual builds'
Addressing 3, how good is the HD frame, anyone know the weight?

Depends which frame you are looking at, but vary from about 1700g to 2kg.
Be aware that the existing parts may not all fit.0 -
Another nice cheap frame is the Dirty Jo Semi Creme only £80...

Thanks SS, didn't spot you with the new avatar, I've asked AllT' the weight for a 16" painted (approx).....
We know we'll have extra costs for sundries yes!
Thanks Puds, that DirtyJo looks super clean.....will have to check the daughters (and my LOL) budget for that!
