Fox RP2 pro pedal on, off, on, off, on....

So I've got my lovely new Trek Fuel, sporting a FOX RP2. I've been messing around with the pro pedal lever - and I'm hugely impressed with the difference it makes, the bike really feels responsive up the hills with it on, and lovely and plush with it off.

But now I find I'm flicking it on and off the whole time - on for the slightest up hill, and off for the slightest downhill.

Now, am I going to wear this thing out with all this flicking on, off, on, off?

I'm hoping there are people out there who've been doing this for years with no troubles!!

J

I would very much doubt it, been fiddling with my Triad for 3 years and no ill effects. Biggest problem is crashing as you try and adjust on the fly

I dislocated a rib in a crash when night riding and trying to flick my itch switch from short to long, while riding. It was most painful

What is still important is to make sure that the sag and rebound is correctly set. But I thought the idea of pro pedal is that it can "tell" the difference between pedal induced bob and trail bouncing.

It can. I must admit I usually leave my pro-pedal leaver in the pro pedal position, sometimes locking out for road riding and very occaisionnally setting it to fully open for descents.
