New crankset - grease bolts or leave as purchased ?

Pretty much as the title suggests really.

Changed to a new crankset - and after 500 miles I've got the dreaded creak - copper slip on the BB - or should I take the chainring apart and dob some grease on the bolts ? :?:

    I'd take the rings off first and see if greasing the bolts works. I've had a creak from that area on several occassions and a bit of grease on the bolts usually does the trick!
