been out battering around on my Klein for a few hours and giving thought to potential upgrades
Bike at present is as factory barring addition of my old fav Panaracer Dart 2.1 front and smoke 1.9 rear - these seem good still though tempted by faster rolling Schwalbe racing ralph or similar
Factory spec is : Bontrager rims / hubs, cranks, bars , seat posst and saddle with a rock shox Duke fork. XT rear mech and Deore front. Brakes are Hays cable operated discs
I think the fork whilst reliable is ugly and I would like remote lock out for road sections - any recommendations ?
local bikeshop reckons Hope hydraulic brakes to be a worthy addition
also I always liked a set of handbuilt wheels I had on Hope hubs years back
any thoughts suggestions ?

The Reba was the replacement for the Duke, so is the natural choice.
As for brakes, is a personal preference but I have to say are lighter, cheaper and more powerful brakes out then some of the Hopes.0
