confused over new disc

just put new disc on and its warped.
now should the disc come to me die straight or do i need to true it wit a disc tool before i fit it.
i'm half convinced it should be true when i get it but the other half thinks i need to build and true a wheel before i fit that and then i think i would expect a new wheel to be true if i bought it new.

oh my head hurts please help :roll:

    what has the wheel to do with the disc?

    and yes some times discs can be bent from new.

    send it back if you are 100% sure that that is the problem.
