Hi guys. not been on in a while. Just in the process of doing over my Norco Bigfoot. It is an 08 frame and i was wondering if a marzocchi 55 fork would be suitable for the bike. If not, is there any you advise, i usually ride delamere and like to do some tame freeride. However i also do some trail riding up in the lakes and in Scotland. This made me think of the 55. Any advice? Thanks guys much appreciated :)

  • I think my friend has these and he does DH and some light free riding and he seems very pleased with these forks

The bike came with 120mm fork so don't know if a 160mm fork will be fine on it.
You could get away probably with 140mm fork but any higher you should check the waranty.

the bike is mainly a trail bike (heavy duty XC in English) I would not push it more than 130mm as the head angle is already 69 degrees.

there is no way i would fit that fork.

Right okay. thanks very much. I think on the ata model can be reduced to about 140mm in travel? Are there any forks that you would avise. I will probs be buying second hand at a budget of £200. Thanks a lot people.

You couldn't go wrong with a Pike.
